The nitpicky details.

To travel with us on one of our adventures, we require a few hard and fast things:

  • Travel insurance. We’re happy to recommend a few options, but don’t leave home without it. In order to pay our vendors, we simply have to have some nonrefundable deadlines in place, but travel insurance will reimburse you if the worst happens and you have to cancel after those deadlines, which after that whole global pandemic thing we are all very, very familiar with. It also covers you in case of other worsts- illness, accidents, etc. Better safe than sorry. Make sure your travel insurance covers the amount of the trip plus the cost of your airfare, and whatever else you decide to add on (other travel you may add to the beginning or the end of this trip. Might as well cover it all)
  • Registration information: We will provide forms for you so you can give us all your necessary info- emergency contacts, addresses, phone numbers, etc.
  • Waivers: Yes, we know this is annoying, but it’s the age we live in. Also this is what the travel insurance is for.
  • Passports (and coming in 2026, visas) should go without saying, but I’m saying it anyway. Occasionally we will need your passport numbers ahead of time for booking purposes.
  • Your airline information so we can be sure to be waiting for you upon arrival!
  • A spirit of adventure and open mindedness. If you want things to be just like the US, don’t go to France!

Registration fee schedule is as follows:

Deposit due upon registration. Remaining balance can be paid in installments if that makes it easier.

Balance must be paid in full by 90 days before trip, and is completely nonrefundable after this date, barring calamity of a global sort. In that case, everything is fully refundable.

Et voilà! That’s pretty much it. Nothing you wouldn’t expect from a few housekeeping items.
